How many times does Donald Trump need to tweet negative things about women for people to finally start seeing him for the self-centered, egotistical, chauvinist he actually is under his false facade? Anyone would have a hard time trying to find a president in our 240 year history that was as blatantly obvious with his hatred towards women than Trump especially when considering that our history is marked with periods of inequality. This man, who is our president, is an embarrassment to the United States and to the rest of the world.
What’s with the fascination about women bleeding for any reason? As if anyone can believe that Trump doesn’t watch Morning Joe anymore, in fact, it is more like he watches religiously so that he can jump on the attack train at the first hint of negative reporting about himself. Most people of his nature have a monster inside them that needs to be reassured that they’re the best, that no one is better than them and of course, that they’re always right. Trump uses the very same news networks and organizations he screams “fake news” at to help feed this monster inside him. That monster is what is going to be his ultimate downfall and the crash and burn, which is already starting, will be absolutely epic once it’s finally over and done with.
Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzesinski and Joe Scarborough co-penned an op-ed that recently appeared in the Washington Post to respond to the Twitter attacks from President Trump. Standing by their coverage of Trump and his presidency, they highlighted the presidents unhealthy obsession with their show. Despite multiple Republican lawmakers calling out Trump for his offensive attacks, the women closest in his life still remain in support of the presidents tweets.
It would be the height of hypocrisy to claim the mantle of women’s empowerment while allowing a family member to continue such abusive conduct.
Melania Trump said in a 2016 speech that as first lady she would combat cyberbullying and declared that our culture has gotten too mean and too rough. In all fairness, our culture has always been mean and rough and that technology has allowed this culture to achieve new levels of abuse. Trump is the poster child of bullying and for those that have been bullied, the worst abuse occurs when they’re backed into a corner. Trump is being attacked on all sides: men, women, Congress, his administration. He knows that he’s unqualified to be our President, but is too proud and stubborn to admit it. His mechanism for coping for these failures is to fall back on what is familiar, bullying anyone that doesn’t kiss his feet and drop rose peddles on the floor in front of him.
Wake up America! We have a bully for President that hates women.
