The bishop is being replaced with the rook, and Donald Trump still does not understand any of the fundamentals. This is not a game that you get up and walk away when the Queen has fallen, but instead stand strong upon the pillars of the black and white squares and state purposely, I am the servant leader and I shall stand strong in the protection of America.
President Donald Trump reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing chief strategist Stephen Bannon from a key committee and restoring the roles of top intelligence and defense officials, according to a person familiar with the decision and a notice published in the Federal Register. A moment of rationality from an otherwise paranoid psychotic schizophrenic attempting at being a pantomime POTUS.
The realignment increases the influence of National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, whose public stances were sometimes at odds with those of Bannon. In addition to gaining greater control over the NSC, McMaster will have the Homeland Security Council under his authority. The change downgrades the role of Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert, who had been given authority to convene or chair the NSC’s principals committee under Trump’s original structure.
He’ll serve those roles now as delegated by McMaster, according to a presidential memorandum dated Tuesday.Americans stopped, stood and became perplexed at the inability of Donald J. Trump to have any substantive idea on how to run the NSC, NSA, or any other agency within the national Government. This leaves one to understand in a less perplexing contrivance that Donald Trump has two major motives. The first motive is to delay and divert any thoughts of his own shortcomings from not having that “big Brain,” and to have a circumvent so that Americans may forget about the Russian and Trump Choreographed cavorting that is being led by the Big Band voice of Vladimir Putin.
The national intelligence director, Dan Coats, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, are again “regular attendees” of the principal’s committee, as in the Obama administration. Trump downgraded their roles and put Bannon on the committee in a Jan. 28 memoranda. The secretary of energy, the Central Intelligence Agency director and the United Nations ambassador also were added to the principals’ committee under Wednesday’s revisions. Finally, in a non-objectional move, Trump brings Nikki Haley, the only proven realistic conservative with integrity and a Constitutional leaning into this fold of aged and broken Chess Pieces.
It isn’t clear why Bannon would be needed on the committee under Flynn but not under McMaster. A second White House official said that Trump was never comfortable with Bannon on the panel, but that his removal didn’t indicate any erosion of his influence within the White House.
Bannon will retain his security clearance, the first official said. Still, his departure from the NSC role was applauded by some Republicans as well as Democrats. Republican Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida called it “welcome news” in a tweet. In this move, America can feel an ephemeral moment that out of the psychosis that Donald J. Trump is enveloped in, that he made a right choice and made the necessary changes to give credence to the security council, and the thought processes were taken.
Far from true Grit, or even in the Harry Truman characteristic approach, Donald Trump wavered in a Jimmy Carterisque moment and became fluent in reality. America must demand more of this latter while deploring the expedient idealisms of Trump playing a major role in a government, and stop with his high-mindedness of “the art of the deal” approaches.
No, Donald must not continue on his current path, but become the American leader he once upon a written speech promised, and become the American President for all Americans, while honoring the Constitution, Conservatism, and bringing the economy the brightness that it needs to flourish.
