Actor James Woods is Done With Twitter: I’m Crushed

By, Jason Taylor

James Woods has decided to leave Twitter over the social network’s decision to purge the racist, alt-right hate accounts. Woods, an avid Donald Trump supporter said in his final tweet:

Since @Twitter is now in the #censorship business, I will no longer use its service for my constitutional right to free speech. #GoodbyeAll

Mr. Woods never seemed to take issue with those on the alt-right tweeting images of President Obama hanging from a noose, or indulging in the hyperbole of Breitbart News.

Woods also seems to find joy in belittling those that are obese:

This clean-up act by Twitter is long overdue. People using Twitter should not be subjected to constant hate and threats over what political ideology they side with. This goes for the left, and the right.

The images or tweets that Melania Trump should be raped are disgusting and should be handled as Twitter is handling the alt-right.

I applaud Twitter for their recent actions against hate, and racism. I would encourage Jack Dorsey to make sure that this is not a political partisan issue. That no matter political affiliation all hate, death threats, and harassment are dealt with appropriately.

  1. I find it rich that only the “alt right” are the ones censored, because the lefties and Black Lives matter proponents on twitter are allowed to mock and name-call ad nauseam on Twitter. The antidote to bad speech is more speech–free speech not censorship so that the snowflakes on the left are free from dissension which severely stunts their intellectual and emotional growth as adults.
